Over a period of time I have refined my
consulting approach - it is zero-based review of each client's
issues. While selecting an approach strong emphasis is given on
research and evidence. No jargon, approach for each assignment is
unique and made for the organisation using available best possible
evidence in management practices. Irrespective of the nature of the
intended problem to be solved, each assignment starts with the
validity of the problem, which questions the validity of the
assumption behind the problem. Thus, it solves the real problem.
Potential clients are always encouraged to call for a complimentary
pre-engagement consultation to ensure the companies' challenges are
valid and fully understood. Once both sides are clear about the
assumed problem and assumed solution the scope of the project and
associated costs are determined. This is a very important step in my
approach so to avoid even after medications the disease exists. The
entire process is evidence-based.
